Must Reading...

...Must I? There has got to be an easier way out. There is - I'll do it for you. Somebody dropped a copy of this book on my desk; "The Silva Mind Control Method," by Jose Silva. The book jacket sez it's about mind control training...even in your sleep. Wow. Talk about the easy way out, I mean, why bother with this while you are awake? I can hardly wait for bedtime tonight. I've not met Jose, nor am I likely to, as he passed in 1999, I think. In his earlier life, Jose repaired radios and had a keen interest in parapsychology.* (See the connection?) Anyhow, his dream lives, and the promoters of the vision tout via the web site:

"Turn Your Life Around

The Silva Method is a powerful, life-changing program developed over 50 years ago by Jose Silva.

It's So Easy

The goal of the Silva Method is to teach you how to use more of your brain and activate the untapped areas of your mind.

Free Yourself

A Richer Life

The Silva Method: Serving Humanity Better"

Powerful stuff.

According to Jose, the book sez it takes four days to learn how, but let me tell you, that's a major commitment to the old attention span. I know, you're thinking; "What's the easy way out?" Well, you are not alone, as the folks at Silva figured out how to condense this down to 48 hours. Gotta like their style, as it fits comfortably within a weekend seminar format, I think. Anyhow, I'll be back to you with more on this.

*Parapsychology - The study of the evidence for psychological phenomena, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis, that are inexplicable by science.

Hmmm..."Everybody Is Up To Something." sm
